These Accident Report Entries are Real
"An invisible car came out of nowhere, struck my car and vanished."
"I was sure the old fellow would never make it to the other side of the road when I struck him."
"I collided with a stationary truck coming the other way."
"In an attempt to kill a fly, I drove into a telephone pole."
"A pedestrian hit me and went under my car."
"The indirect cause of the accident was a little guy in a small car with a big mouth."
Think Before You Buy
You may be hearing people complaining lately about being “upside-down” in their car. Simply put, they owe more than their car is worth.
But the new car dealers have the answer. They will sell you another and payoff your present car all while keeping you same monthly payment or one that’s not much higher.
Sound good? But there’s more. Now the payments are stretched out for an incredible 84 months or 7 years, and then there are the insurance costs and the tags.
Kind-a makes your present vehicle more valuable than you thought.
Transmission Fact
Less than 20% of transmission problems we see require a major repair.
What’s the Repair Cost?
When one of my employees went on vacation, I ran the shop for a few days and answered a lot of calls that shared one thing in common. After telling me their vehicle and symptoms, came the question of “How much?”
There was no concern for things like: Can you diagnose and repair the actual problem? Will you make the problem larger than it has to be? How accurate is your estimate? What is the guarantee? Will you be there if there’s a problem? How long have you been in business?
Some people aren't concerned about the answers to the above questions. They are just going through the phone book calling places and asking one question. How much? After they have several quotes, they go with the lowest bidder, often with disastrous results.
Many shops leave out critical parts from their quote only to add them to the job later. They knew the parts would be necessary, but wanted to keep their quote low.
Quote of Note
“It is unwise to pay too much, but it is worse to pay too little. When you pay too much, you lose a little money… that is all. When you pay too little, you sometimes lose everything, because what you bought was incapable of doing what it was bought to do.”
“The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot… it can’t be done. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run. And if you do that, you will have enough to pay for the something better.”

What does Quality Transmission have that no other transmission shop in Arizona has?
The answer is at the top of the page. The BBB Business Ethics Award. Click here for details.
We’re proud of the honor and hope that your experience was such that you will recommend us to someone that could use our service.
No Yellow Page Ad?
Since over 90% of our business comes from either repeat customers or ones that are referred by previous customers, I thought the $750 that I spent each month was a needless expense. And, that was just for 1/8 of a page ad!
Of course we are still listed in the column with a bold listing.
Transmission Fact
Most major transmission repairs start out as minor problems, but when ignored, turn into big ones.
